BLACK HISTORY MONTH: February 16, 2023 – She sang her HEART OUT!

R&B songstress Anita Baker is in our Throwback Black History Month spotlight tonight – and it was great to see her back out and about a few weeks back at the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia for this rousing version of the national anthem.

Some of her vocal trills and high notes are IMMMMMMMPRESSIVE.

She might have been a good luck charm for the Eagles in this game, too; she’s been a LIFELONG fan.  Although they didn’t top the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, Philly QB Jalen Hurts said he loves listening to Baker’s music post-game – so don’t be surprised if you see Anita on an Eagles sideline again soon!
