BLACK HISTORY MONTH THROWBACK SPOTLIGHT: Brandy Norwood is all grown up!

For those of us growing up in the ’90s, “Moesha” on UPN was one of the sitcoms that started making a BIG impact in our lives, and Brandy Norwood was at the center of it all.  It didn’t hurt, too, that she had a hit music career with songs like “Sittin’ Up In My Room,” “Have You Ever,” and the mega-smash “The Boy Is Mine” along with Monica in the summer of 1998.

Well, Brandy is all grown up with a family of her own nowadays, and if you missed it, she’s been releasing her own collaborations with Chance The Rapper as well.  A lot of new music hasn’t gotten the attention it had in recent years because of all things pandemic… but if you’re a Brandy fan, we hope you enjoy this one that she released last summer, “Baby Mama.”

Here’s to you, Brandy, for growing up, continuing to write and record, and giving us some great life lessons through the years.  PROPS!
